April 1st – April 5th 2017: 2 hour (6:30 – 8:30 pm) beginner sushi classes and Contestant training for the Subaru Annual Amateur Sushi Creation Contest will be held at Tokio Headhouse in celebration of the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival. Please come make sushi and eat what you make! $60 per class, per person, including complimentary admission to Sakura Sunday at the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival on April 9, 2017 to attend the Subaru Sushi Samurai of the Year Competition 2017 that starts at 12pm .Choose A Class
Thursday, April 6, 2017: The 13th Annual Subaru Amateur Sushi Creation Contest at Tokio Headhouse from 6:30 pm – 8:30pm. Contestant fee is $100 per person and includes training and general admission. Contestants must attend at least one practice class (included in contestant fee) Contest is 45 mins. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.Enter Contest
General admission is $25 per guest and includes tasting of appetizers and sushi. Sake, wine and craft beers are half price. Purchase tickets in advance by calling or emailing Madame Saito. RSVP only.Guest RSVP
Friday April 7th 2017: Subaru Sushi Samurai Competition training is 5pm – 7pm for Sakura Sunday.
Art Show Hosted by Liza Chosed . 8pm no cover, live music, art and Crafts at the Tokio Headhouse.
Sunday April 9th 2017: Subaru Sakura Sunday Competition for Subaru Sushi Samurai of the Year at the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival in Fairmount Park. Starts at 12pm (students arrive at 11:30am). Contestant fee is $100/person, including one prior training class (required) . ALSO includes admission AND one parking space to Fairmount Park on Sakura Sunday.
